You, the Righteous, are a crucial and important part of the EXTENDED village that it takes to raise a child in Congo. WELCOME to the EXTENDED village to help the "least of these" brothers and sisters in the Congo. Without the EXTENDED village, hundreds of thousands of Congolese children will continue to die annually from preventative deaths. Congo Helping Hands is here to be your hands and feet to build the best EXTENDED village.
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN JOIN AND SERVE!
At the very least that village must provide access to sufficient and nutritious food, to available and safe drinking water, reasonable health care, and the knowledge and resources to sustain those things.
- To support the local medical system.
- To promote good nutrition.
- To make safe water accessible to every village.
- To facilitate self-sustainability.
Congo Helping Hands was incorporated in August 2004. It resulted from previous work started by the Presbytery of Whitewater Valley of the Presbyterian Church USA (PCUSA) in 1996. In addition to working with the Presbyterian Churches in the USA and Kasai Central provinces, we now work with the Catholic Parishes in the USA.
Another key partner is The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International and its local Rotary Clubs.
Your support efforts fulfill critical needs in the health, educational, and agricultural areas. And your efforts support all people in the south central provinces (formerly, the West Kasai and the East Kasai) of Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Hi, I am an American citizen and a Congolese born. I appreciate the way Congo helping hand is helping people in need in Congo by providing foods and and potable water. I would like to become member and serve these people where I come from.
