Research - Education - Development
The Congolese lack access to educational resources and the means to complete their own research and development to improve self sufficiency. CHH will research, study and develop projects to better determine and meet the needs of the people of the Congo. We will communicate with and visit other facilities, both domestic and abroad, who have experienced similar needs to those of the Congolese and have found viable solutions. We plan to network with other organizations to find efficient and effective means and methods and plan to pursue any research and education necessary to prepare individuals to visit the Congo for either extended or short lengths of stay.
Some of the specific areas we hope to investigate:
bore hole drilling techniques
water systems including filtration and purification
drought resistant and heartier seed varieties
more productive agricultural techniques
sources of electrical power including solar, wind, and water
Please contact Congo Helping Hands if you have information or research that might help the Congolese people in the pursuit to improve their quality of life.
